OverDrive eBooks and Audiobooks

Login into Overdrive with your library card number (including the BCPL).
If you plan to read/listen on a device, be sure to download the Mobile App.
Download up to 6 titles at a time, and keep them for 7 or 14 days.
Place holds on titles that are unavailable and receive email notification when they are available to download.
Make suggestions for the Library to purchase.
There are no late fees on eBooks or audiobooks. They will simply disappear from your computer or device when the loan-period is up.
You can return titles early on your computer or from My Bookshelf in the app.
Renew titles once if no one is waiting for the item. If someone is waiting, you will be added to the holds list.

Stream up to five titles a month. Music albums and movies are available to stream (computer and mobile) and download (mobile). eBooks, comic book and graphic novels are available to download (mobile).
Borrow eBooks, comic books and graphic novels for 21 days. Music albums checkout for 7 days and movies checkoutfor 3 days. Items automatically return themselves after the borrowing period so there are never overdue fines!
Everything is always available! There are never holds, and you don’t need to wait for someone else to finish before you can borrow a title.
